Talentspoc is actively seeking a skilled Consultant/Specialist Gastrointestinal Surgeon to become a vital member of our healthcare team. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in managing and performing surgical treatments for a wide array of gastrointestinal conditions. Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients presenting with gastrointestinal diseases requiring surgical intervention.
- Perform elective and emergency gastrointestinal surgeries, using both open and minimally invasive techniques.
- Provide comprehensive pre-operative evaluation and post-operative follow-up care.
- Collaborate with gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families about surgical procedures, risks, benefits, and recovery expectations.
- Participate in clinical audits, research activities, and quality improvement programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Completed residency in General Surgery and specialized fellowship in Gastrointestinal Surgery.
- Valid medical license to practice surgery in the respective jurisdiction.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in gastrointestinal surgical practice.
- Expertise in advanced surgical techniques, including laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures.
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
