F&B Attendant - InterContinental Abu Dhabi

At InterContinental Abu Dhabi, we are passionate about creating memorable experiences for our guests through genuine hospitality, thoughtful service, and attention to detail. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and service-oriented F&B Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

As an F&B Attendant, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. You will work closely with the wider Food & Beverage team to deliver professional, attentive, and efficient service while maintaining the high standards expected at InterContinental.

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly do:

• Welcoming guests warmly and assisting them with seating and dining requirements.
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and ensuring they are delivered in a timely and professional manner.
• Providing guests with information about menus, ingredients, promotions, and available dining options.
• Setting up and maintaining tables, service areas, and restaurant equipment according to established standards.
• Ensuring the restaurant and service areas remain clean, organized, and presentable throughout the shift.
• Anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests to create a seamless dining experience.
• Handling guest feedback professionally and escalating concerns to the appropriate supervisor when required.
• Coordinating closely with the kitchen, bar, and other Food & Beverage colleagues to ensure smooth service.
• Following all food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and responsible service procedures.
• Supporting restaurant opening and closing duties as required.
• Assisting with special events, functions, and other Food & Beverage operations when needed.
• Demonstrating our IHG values through your interactions with guests and colleagues every day.What we need from you:

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage service role, preferably within a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional appearance and strong grooming standards.
• A positive, friendly, and guest-focused attitude.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• A willingness to learn, develop, and grow within the Food & Beverage operation.
• Good command of English; additional languages would be an advantage.What you can expect from us:
