Delivery Director - Sports Stadium - SPA101

Qiddiya Investment Company is proud to announce an opening for a Delivery Director for one of our Stadium projects. This strategic role will require an inspirational leader with a track record in delivering large-scale sports facilities to ensure the successful execution of this iconic venue, which will serve as a centerpiece for national athletics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction and end-to-end delivery phases of the Stadium, ensuring the project adheres to its vision and performance standards.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to develop effective strategies for project delivery that meet budget, quality, and timeline parameters.
• Engage with stakeholders, including government entities, sports organizations, and community representatives, to align project objectives with national interests.
• Implement and enforce rigorous project governance, risk management practices, and quality control procedures throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress through regular site assessments and reporting to ensure timely delivery and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Facilitate strong collaboration among contractors and suppliers to foster a successful project environment.
• Provide strategic guidance and updates to senior management regarding project status, potential challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Promote sustainable practices and innovations that contribute to the functionality and environmental stewardship of the stadium.Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in project delivery, particularly within the sports infrastructure sector
• Must have proven experience in successfully delivering a major stadium or arena project and po large-scale projects, with a solid understanding of construction, design, and engineering processes
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams
• Deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders
• Proficient in project management software and tools, with strong analytical capabilities
