Content Compliance & Government Relations Manager Middle East

As part of its continued expansion in the Middle East, the company is strengthening its content compliance, regulatory engagement, and government relations capabilities to ensure alignment with local cultural, religious, and policy frameworks.
This role plays a critical function in safeguarding platform content and maintaining constructive relationships with regional regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct content review and compliance execution to ensure alignment with local religious, cultural, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain regional content safety standards, including mechanisms for identifying and escalating sensitive content.
- Monitor and analyze policy and regulatory developments across Middle Eastern markets, providing clear compliance guidance to internal teams.
- Build and maintain ongoing communication with government and regulatory bodies, acting as a key point of contact.
- Manage content-related compliance incidents, risk assessments, and resolution plans in coordination with internal stakeholders.

Requirements
- Experience in content compliance, regulatory affairs, government relations, or policy-related roles.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong understanding of Middle Eastern cultural, religious, and policy environments.
- High sensitivity and sound judgment in handling content risk and regulatory matters.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across international teams.
