Consultant Urologist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Urologist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in diagnosing and surgically managing a broad range of urological conditions in adult patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage complex urological conditions.
• Perform a wide range of urological surgical procedures.
• Manage conditions affecting the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate, and male reproductive system.
• Perform endourological and minimally invasive procedures where appropriate.
• Manage urinary tract stones, prostate disorders, urinary obstruction, and urological infections.
• Evaluate and manage male reproductive and sexual health conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide postoperative care and monitor patient recovery.
• Manage urological emergencies when required.
• Collaborate with nephrologists, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
• Counsel patients regarding treatment options, procedures, risks, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate clinical and surgical documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MS/MCh/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Urology.
• Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level.
• Strong experience in urological surgery and minimally invasive procedures.
• Experience in endourology and laparoscopic procedures is an advantage.
• Excellent surgical judgment, clinical skills, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
