A leading tertiary care hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is expanding its neurosciences and spine surgery program and is inviting applications from highly experienced Consultant / Specialist Neurosurgeons to join its multidisciplinary surgical team.

Role Overview
- Position: Consultant / Specialist Neurosurgeon
- Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
- Hospital Type: Private / Government / Multispecialty / Tertiary Care (JCI-accredited)
- Experience Required: Minimum 3ā5+ years post board certification
- Clinical Scope: Brain surgery, spine surgery, neurotrauma, and minimally invasive neurosurgical proceduresThe successful candidate will provide comprehensive neurosurgical care, working alongside neurologists, intensivists, and rehabilitation specialists.
Key Responsibilities
⢠Diagnose and surgically manage brain, spine, and peripheral nervous system disorders
⢠Perform cranial surgeries, spine surgeries, tumor resections, and neurotrauma procedures
⢠Conduct minimally invasive and image-guided neurosurgical interventions
⢠Manage complex neurological conditions, including brain tumors, vascular malformations, and spinal disorders
⢠Provide pre-operative evaluation and post-operative care, including ICU coordination
⢠Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurology, oncology, radiology, and rehabilitation
⢠Participate in emergency neurosurgical services and on-call rotations
⢠Ensure adherence to clinical governance, patient safety, and international surgical protocols
⢠Contribute to clinical audits, research, and continuous medical education
⢠Mentor junior doctors and surgical trainees
Eligibility & Board Recognition

- American Board of Neurological Surgery
- UK CCT / FRCS (Neurosurgery)
- European Board Certification
- Royal College Certification (Canada)
- Australian Fellowship
- Arab Board
- MCh / DNB Neurosurgery / equivalent recognised super-specialty qualificationCandidates should be eligible for Dubai Health Authority (DHA) / Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH) license conversion (full support provided).
