Job Summary
A leading private hospital in the UAE is looking for an experienced Consultant Radiologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services across a broad range of clinical specialties. The role involves interpreting complex imaging studies, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, and working closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in diagnostic radiology, experience with advanced imaging modalities, and a recognized Western postgraduate qualification. Experience in a tertiary or leading private hospital environment is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and report a wide range of diagnostic imaging examinations accurately and efficiently.
- Review and report MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray, and other imaging studies according to clinical requirements.
- Provide expert consultation to referring physicians regarding imaging findings and appropriate investigations.
- Perform or support image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures where appropriately trained.
- Identify and promptly communicate urgent or critical imaging findings.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions.
- Maintain high standards of diagnostic accuracy, patient safety, and clinical documentation.
- Ensure appropriate use of imaging protocols and radiation-safety practices.
- Collaborate with radiographers, technicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and professional development.
- Keep up to date with advances in radiology technology, imaging techniques, and evidence-based practice.
- Medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Diagnostic Radiology/Radiology.
- Recognized Western qualification
- Consultant-level experience in Radiology.
- Strong experience in cross-sectional imaging and general diagnostic radiology.
- Proficiency in interpreting CT, MRI, ultrasound, and conventional radiography.
- Experience in a tertiary, leading private, or multispecialty hospital is preferred.
- Subspecialty expertise such as Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Body Imaging, Breast Imaging, Cardiothoracic Radiology, or Interventional Radiology is an advantage.
- Strong clinical judgment, reporting accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.

Requirements
