We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Pediatric ENT Specialist to join our healthcare team in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide expert diagnosis, medical management, and surgical treatment for ear, nose, and throat disorders affecting infants, children, and adolescents. The Consultant Pediatric ENT will deliver comprehensive, family-centered care and collaborate with pediatricians and other specialists to ensure optimal clinical outcomes in accordance with DHA regulations and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage pediatric patients with disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck.
• Provide comprehensive care for conditions including:
• Recurrent ear infections and otitis media
• Hearing loss and congenital ear disorders
• Tonsillitis and adenoid disorders
• Sleep-disordered breathing and pediatric obstructive sleep apnea
• Nasal obstruction, sinusitis, and allergic rhinitis
• Voice and swallowing disorders
• Congenital head and neck anomalies
• Pediatric airway disorders
• Foreign body removal from ear, nose, and airway
• Pediatric ENT trauma
•
• Perform pediatric ENT surgical procedures, including:
• Tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy
• Tympanostomy tube insertion
• Pediatric airway procedures
• Endoscopic nasal and sinus procedures
• Management of congenital ENT conditions
• Head and neck lesion excision
• Other specialized pediatric ENT procedures as credentialed

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform and interpret relevant diagnostic evaluations, including:
• Otoscopy and microscopic ear examination
• Audiological assessments
• Nasal endoscopy
• Flexible laryngoscopy
• Imaging studies related to ENT conditions
•
• Provide pre-operative evaluation and post-operative follow-up care.
• Counsel children and families regarding treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, recovery, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, neonatologists, audiologists, speech therapists, allergists, pulmonologists, and other specialists for coordinated patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement programs, research, and continuing medical education activities.
• Supervise and mentor ENT specialists, residents, fellows, and junior medical staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using electronic medical record systems.
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, surgical safety standards, and patient care guidelines.
• Participate in emergency pediatric ENT services and on-call duties as required.Requirements
Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Completion of accredited residency training in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (ENT).
- Fellowship or advanced subspecialty training in Pediatric Otolaryngology.
- Fellowship/CCT/CCST/Arab Board/American Board/Canadian Board or equivalent qualification recognized by DHA for Consultant registration.
- Eligibility for or possession of a DHA Consultant Pediatric ENT License.
- Relevant post-qualification experience as per DHA Professional Qualification Requirements.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.Benefits
