Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Providing consultant-level diagnosis and management of endocrine and metabolic disorders in children.
• Managing conditions including pediatric diabetes, thyroid disorders, growth and puberty disorders, obesity, adrenal disorders, and metabolic conditions.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalised treatment plans.
• Providing long-term follow-up and monitoring of patients.
• Working closely with paediatricians, dietitians, nurses, geneticists, and other multidisciplinary specialists.
• Providing education and counselling to children and their families.
• Participating in clinical quality improvement, teaching, and service development.
Medical degree with recognised postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics.
Fellowship/subspecialty qualification in Pediatric Endocrinology preferred.
Strong consultant-level experience in Pediatric Endocrinology.
Proven experience managing complex pediatric endocrine and metabolic conditions.
Western qualifications such as UK CCT/CCST, Irish, American Board, or Canadian Board are preferred.
Must meet the requirements for Consultant-level DoH licensing in Abu Dhabi.
Excellent clinical, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
