We are seeking an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon with UK CCT to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide high-quality specialist orthopaedic and trauma care, with opportunities to work within a multidisciplinary and internationally recognised clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and surgical management of orthopaedic and trauma conditions.
- Perform elective and emergency orthopaedic procedures according to clinical expertise.
- Manage complex trauma, fractures, joint disorders and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Develop individualised treatment plans and provide appropriate pre- and post-operative care.
- Review diagnostic imaging and laboratory investigations and formulate appropriate management plans.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, radiologists, anaesthetists and other specialists as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in emergency/on-call services where applicable.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with UAE healthcare regulations and patient-safety standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching and professional development activities.
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior medical staff where required.
• MBBS or equivalent recognised medical qualification.
• UK CCT in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery with relevant specialist/consultant experience.
• Current or eligible GMC Specialist Register status preferred.
• Strong experience in elective orthopaedic surgery and trauma management.
• Excellent clinical, surgical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eligible for licensing with the relevant UAE health authority (DHA, DOH or MOHAP), subject to authority assessment.
