Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Consultant Family Medicine Physician to join our leading healthcare facility. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, chronic disease management, and health promotion. This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based medical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine care for individuals and families across all age groups.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, medical evaluations, and clinical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in outpatient and primary care settings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and current clinical guidelines.
• Provide preventive healthcare services, including health screenings, vaccinations, lifestyle counseling, and disease prevention programs.
• Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory disorders, and metabolic conditions.
• Provide continuity of care through regular follow-ups and long-term patient management.
• Address common medical concerns, minor procedures, and general health issues.
• Identify patients requiring specialist referrals and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and healthcare programs.
• Support health awareness activities and community healthcare initiatives.
• Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, ethics, and clinical excellence.

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Completion of postgraduate training in Family Medicine or General Practice.
• Board Certification, Fellowship, Master’s degree, or equivalent specialist qualification in Family Medicine is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Family Medicine or Primary Healthcare.
• Strong experience in managing patients across different age groups and medical conditions.
• Excellent knowledge of preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and health promotion.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to build long-term patient relationships and provide continuity of care.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine, patient safety, and continuous professional development.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
