Job Summary
Leading private hospital in the UAE is looking for an experienced Consultant Cardiologist with strong expertise in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of cardiovascular conditions. The role involves providing comprehensive cardiac care, managing complex cases, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams across the hospital. The successful candidate will contribute to advanced cardiovascular services, patient safety, clinical excellence, and the continued development of cardiology care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive cardiac consultations, assessments, and follow-ups.
- Manage coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, and other complex cardiac conditions.
- Perform and interpret relevant cardiac diagnostic investigations according to clinical expertise.
- Develop individualized treatment and preventive care plans.
- Manage acute cardiac and emergency cases in collaboration with emergency and critical care teams.
- Work closely with cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and complex cardiac case discussions.
- Provide appropriate counseling on cardiovascular risk factors and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure high standards of patient safety and clinical governance.
- Participate in clinical audits, teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support the development and enhancement of advanced cardiology services.
- Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiology.
- Recognized Western qualification in Cardiology from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or equivalent recognized healthcare system.
- Established Consultant-level clinical experience.
- Strong experience in managing complex cardiovascular and cardiac cases.
- Experience in a leading private hospital, tertiary-care center, or advanced cardiac facility preferred.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based cardiovascular diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
- Subspecialty expertise in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac imaging, or heart failure is an advantage.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements
