Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Buyback Consultant to evaluate, authenticate, price, and repurchase precious metals while ensuring full regulatory compliance and delivering an exceptional client experience.
The successful candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of bullion valuation, assay techniques, precious metals authentication, AML compliance, and client relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical inspection and authentication of gold and silver using XRF, acid testing, visual inspection, and weight verification.
- Calculate buyback pricing using live spot prices and approved commercial spreads.
- Negotiate within approved pricing guidelines.
- Complete KYC, AML and Source of Funds documentation.
- Escalate suspicious transactions in accordance with UAE AML regulations.
- Support retail and portfolio teams with bullion valuation requests.
- Educate clients on precious metals markets, pricing, and buyback processes.
- Ensure complete accuracy, integrity and regulatory compliance throughout every transaction.
- Build long-term relationships that encourage repeat investment activity.
- 3–5 years' experience in bullion trading, precious metals dealing, refinery valuation or buyback operations.
- Formal assay or precious metals valuation training preferred.
- Strong understanding of LBMA Good Delivery standards.
- Ability to identify counterfeit or plated bullion products.
- Good knowledge of UAE AML, KYC and STR reporting.
- Excellent commercial negotiation skills.
- Strong numerical accuracy.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Base Salary: As per Market Standards

Requirements
