Job Description

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established hotel standards.
• Provide friendly, professional and efficient service to all guests.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers and other beverages.
• Ensure proper bar set-up, cleanliness, stock levels and presentation before and during service.
• Take guest orders accurately and process orders through the designated POS system.
• Prepare beverages consistently, following standard recipes, portion controls and presentation guidelines.
• Interact with guests professionally, anticipate their needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Promote hotel facilities, outlets, promotions and beverage offerings to guests.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming, hygiene and professional appearance.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control, requisitions, breakage and wastage reporting.
• Follow all hotel policies, SOPs, food safety requirements, health and safety standards and applicable local regulations.
• Practice responsible alcohol service and comply with all requirements relating to the service of alcoholic beverages.
• Work closely with the F&B, Kitchen and other hotel departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support the team during busy periods, banquets, events and special functions while maintaining service standards.
• Participate in briefings, meetings and training programs, continuously develop beverage knowledge and promote a positive “Yes I Can!” service culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant Bartending experience in a 5-star hotel, luxury bar, nightclub or premium club environment.
• Previous experience in high-volume bar, club, restaurant, banquet and event operations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers and premium beverages.
• Excellent knowledge of beverage preparation, presentation, glassware and bar equipment.
• Experience handling VIP guests and international clientele is an advantage.
• Strong guest service and interpersonal skills with a professional and friendly approach.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage.
• Good knowledge of POS systems, beverage inventory, stock control, requisitions and wastage procedures.
• Knowledge of hygiene, food safety and responsible alcohol service requirements.
• Excellent grooming, personal presentation and professional conduct.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts, late nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with F&B and other hotel departments.
• Positive, proactive and guest-focused with a strong “Yes I Can!” attitude.
• Hospitality qualification or relevant Bartending/F&B training is an advantage.
