Generic Accountability:
Direct supervision and engagement on timely fulfilment of day-to-day tasks, business requirements and regular housekeeping activities in accordance with the regulatory and performance standards of the organization.
Core Competencies:
1. Leading CAD International-DU team in Head Office.
2. Monitoring CAD-Intl governance framework across processes, people, systems and administration.
Processes:
1. Acting as a focal point of contact between Head Office and Country CAD teams on the matters related to CAD.
2. Preparing and reviewing various consolidated reports for CAD-International.
3. Overseeing Loan Documentation managed by County CAD teams by periodic review of data maintained in GLCMS and Core Banking System.
4. Publishing reports on the data maintained in the systems and liaising with Country CAD teams on the corrective actions.
5. Assisting Country CAD teams in drafting the CAD Standard Operating Procedures and liaising with Group Operational Risk for review and finalization.
6. Evaluating the efficacy of CAD Standard Operating Producers and associated checks and control for Country CAD teams on an ongoing basis.
7. Reviewing the Country Audit reports and liaising with Country CAD teams in timely closure of the internal and external audit observations.
8. Completing the annual Risk and Control Assessment exercise (RCSA) as required and perform control testing.
9. Maintaining and update the Annual Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for the Unit, conduct business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessment to identify critical functions/processes.
10. Developing strategies and preventive control measures to mitigate credit and operational risks in CAD processes.
Administration:
1. Conducting gap analysis and peer review of CAD processes and collating enhancement needs to better support Country CAD teams’ requirements.
2. Preparation and periodic review of training manuals for Country CAD teams covering system and process.
3. Organizing and conducting semi-annual CAD Academy training sessions and conducting periodic system and functional training for international branches.
4. Arranging periodic communication forums with the key stakeholders in Head Office and the International branches.
5. Attending fortnightly communication forums with CAD Cluster Heads and track action plans.
6. Conducting quarterly video conference calls with Cluster Heads, Country CAD teams and developing key action plans for tracking and implementation.
Systems:
1. Representing CAD-International as an SME during various projects implementation.
2. Collaborating with IT and CAD Projects team on system enhancements as and when requested from Country CAD teams.
3. Reviewing and signing off various system related documents from a CAD perspective including BRDs, Design Documents, Solution Designs, and Migration Approach etc.
4. Carrying out the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on system enhancements and participating in data migration and validation exercises.
People:
1. Responsible for up skill, cross-skill and enhancing the competency level of the team (product, system and process knowledge).
2. Evaluating staff training needs and liaise with FAB Business School to arrange the training and refresher courses.
3. Responsible for ensuring the completion of mandatory training requirements for the team.
4. Responsible for developing SMART goals for the team.
5. Responsible for effective management of staff leaves and ensuring that adequate resources are available to ensure business continuity.
6. Ensuring timely performance feedback, recognition, and acknowledgement.
7. Undertaking all such other roles and responsibilities assigned by the Head of CAD International from time to time.
Requirements
- •Experience in leading CAD International teams
- •Knowledge of governance frameworks for processes, people, and systems
- •Ability to conduct gap analysis and peer reviews
- •Experience with Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
- •Proficiency in Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
- •Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Responsibilities
