As an Associate Manager - CLM, you will be responsible for creating, shaping, and optimising CLM campaigns (consisting of email, push, in-app and web notifications) while also working with various internal teams to create end-to-end marketing strategies and user lifecycle journeys. You’ll be responsible for the overall platform health from the CLM perspective and traffic share from the CLM side.
In this role, you will:
• Lifecycle Communication Opportunities: Identify and execute customer lifecycle communication opportunities for automated triggered communications;
• Customer Engagement & Retention Strategies: Develop strategies to engage, retain, and re-engage customers at key lifecycle milestones, driving incremental returns;
• Campaign Creation & Management: Create and manage email, in-app, and push notification campaigns; assist in copywriting, email design, and performance analysis for both C2C and B2C;
• End-to-End Campaign Execution: Oversee end-to-end customer engagement and retention campaigns, ensuring seamless execution and measurable impact on key business metrics;
• Industry Trends & Best Practices: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to apply cutting-edge communication strategies;
• Experimentation & Optimisation: Experiment with new communication methods, tools, and channels to optimise performance and customer engagement;
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of CLM/CRM professionals, ensuring team growth and development;
• Training & Upskilling: Conduct training sessions to upskill team members on CRM tools, best practices, and campaign strategies in order to build talent and future leaders;
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, marketing, tech) to gather and share necessary information for campaign execution;
• A/B Testing & Campaign Optimization: Conduct A/B testing and optimize campaigns with strategic content, frequency, and audience targeting;
• Debugging & Monitoring: Debug and monitor CLM efforts to meet performance targets, addressing issues or discrepancies in real-time;
• Business-Level Metrics & Impact Measurement: Monitor business-level metrics to measure the impact of CLM efforts on engagement, retention, and revenue growth;
• Data-Driven Strategy Development: Develop data-driven strategies to maximise customer lifetime value through CLM efforts;
• Cross-Departmental Alignment: Ensure cross-departmental alignment before and after campaign launches for seamless coordination;
• New Product Features & Testing: Lead testing and deployment of new product features with Product Managers, leveraging email and push notifications;
• Messaging Quality & Engagement: Continuously improve messaging quality, increasing traffic and engagement while maintaining relevance and personalisation;
• Campaign Analysis & Reporting: Perform detailed campaign analysis, reporting insights to optimise future strategies;
• Audience Building & Segmentation: Build, segment, and test audiences to ensure targeted and personalised communications;
• Project Management & Execution: Manage end-to-end project delivery, from ideation to execution and post-launch analysis;
• API-Based Campaign Projects: Assist BI/Tech teams with API-based campaign projects, ensuring smooth integration;
• Task Prioritization & Management: Prioritise and balance multiple tasks, ensuring effective execution of communication strategies;
• Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track, report, and analyse key performance indicators to measure CLM contributions to business growth.Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or BSC from a reputable university.
• 6+ years of experience in a similar field;
• 1-2 years of experience managing a team.
• Knowledge of basic digital marketing & advanced CLM tools;
• Practical knowledge of digital platforms and some of the CLM tools: Braze, Airship, Lean Plum, Acoustic, Moengage, Twilio, Sendgrid, and SendinBlue (experience with at least one email automation platform);
• Excellent understanding of web analytics (experience with Google Analytics is preferred);
• Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies and best practices.
• Strong critical thinking, technical and data analysis skills;
• Strong skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint);
• Excellent communication and literacy skills.
• Sharp strategic thinking and ability to translate quantitative & qualitative data/insights into a strong targeted marketing strategy;
