Job Description

Role Overview

This role focuses primarily on precise design implementation within WordPress, while also requiring broader web development knowledge to ensure scalability, performance, security, and clean architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement approved website designs pixel-perfectly into WordPress.

• Translate Figma / Adobe XD / Sketch designs into clean, maintainable code.

• Build fully responsive layouts (desktop, tablet, mobile).

• Develop using WordPress best practices (custom themes, child themes, or structured page builders).

• Implement designs using Elementor, Gutenberg, or custom-coded solutions as required.

• Configure plugins, custom post types, taxonomies, and backend structures.

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile-first performance.

• Optimize website speed, caching, SEO structure, and security best practices.

• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, analytics, and marketing platforms when required.

• Manage hosting environments, staging, deployment, and go-live processes.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain high technical standards.

• Provide structured documentation and handover upon project completion.

• Collaborate with designers and internal teams to implement UI/UX designs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (3+ years preferred)
• Strong proficiency in WordPress core, themes, and plugins
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP (WordPress-specific)
• Experience implementing designs from Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
• Strong experience with Elementor or equivalent page builders
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first development
• Familiarity with performance optimization and hosting environments
