Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW

The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for delivering exceptional table service at FAENA, ensuring guests receive a refined and memorable dining experience. The role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining high standards of hospitality, presentation, and service excellence in line with the resort’s luxury dining standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide attentive, professional, and personalized table service to all guests.

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and explain dishes, specials, and beverages when required.

• Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams.

• Serve food and drinks promptly, following proper service standards and presentation guidelines.

• Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and maintained throughout service.

• Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests or special requirements.

• Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.

• Handle guest inquiries and feedback professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.

• Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, and F&B supervisory teams for smooth service flow.

• Ensure proper handling of POS systems for order entry and billing accuracy.

• Support upselling of menu items, beverages, and special promotions.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.

• Assist in setting up and closing down restaurant sections before and after service.

• Report guest complaints, service issues, or operational concerns to supervisors promptly.

• Work as part of a team to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.

• Uphold grooming, uniform, and appearance standards of FAENA.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or F&B training is an advantage.

• 1–3 years of experience in restaurant, hotel, or luxury dining service preferred.

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette.

• Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.

• Fluency in English required; additional languages are an advantage.
