Key Accountabilities:
• Leads the Customer Value Proposition team and ensure initiatives are delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with GPB’s strategy.
• Champions change across GPB, driving strategic business initiatives aimed at streamlining GPB to achieve optimal performance.
• Supports alignment, synergy and coordination between strategic plans of GPB functions and PBG / Bank-wide strategic initiatives.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and peers to develop recommendations to support the execution of improvement initiatives, define a plan to execute against the strategy, and oversee the execution of these initiatives.
• Assists the Head of Business Management in developing and driving forward comprehensive plans (e.g., systems/digital architecture for front office / customer / advisory, policies procedures, regulatory adherence, risk and controls based initiatives, etc.) for GPB businesses in order to ensure smooth resourcing, execution and monitoring of initiatives.
• Assesses the risks, anticipated resistance and impact of initiatives in terms of people, processes, systems, financials, etc. and highlight these to the Head of Business Management in order to ensure necessary decisions and actions are taken.
• Identifies key business challenges and areas for major improvement and provides improvement initiatives to tackle these challenges and facilitate the change implementations.
• Leads the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
• Ensures that all department reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet Group requirements, policies and quality standards.Job Context:
Specific Accountability
The job context and dimensions of the Head of Strategic Initiatives and Value Proposition – Global Private Banking will adjust depending on the nature and evolution of the Private Banking business.
Key Performance indicators
• Timely development of effective change management plans
• Timely implementation and roll out of GPB initiatives as per plan and budget
• Adherence to policies, processes, and procedures of GPBMinimum Qualification
• Banking, Finance, or Business Administration Degree
Minimum Experience
• 10 – 15 years of business experience ideally in Banking or Financial Services companies where there has been direct exposure to significant change.
• Experience of complex change management programmes/business transformation and strategy execution.
• Experience in team management
• Experience in Private Banking industry and product knowledge
Requirements
