Horse Riding Coach - Private Family

Apt Resources is seeking a skilled and passionate Horse Riding Coach to provide private riding lessons and coaching for a prestigious private family in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training riders of varying skill levels, maintaining horses’ health and fitness, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable riding experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, high-level coaching in show jumping, ensuring progressive skill development and excellent riding technique.
• Design and implement structured, individualized training programs to prepare the rider for competitions and private equestrian events.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, ensuring the wellbeing of both horse and rider at all times.
• Foster a professional, respectful, and discreet training environment in line with private household standards.
• Oversee the schooling, conditioning, and competition readiness of assigned horses.
• Provide constructive feedback, performance assessments, and continuous improvement plans for the rider.
• Work collaboratively with grooms, veterinarians, farriers, and other equestrian staff to ensure optimal horse care and training efficiency.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with royal protocol, confidentiality requirements, and professional etiquette.
• Monitor horse fitness programs, including flatwork, jumping schedules, and recovery plans.
• Offer guidance on stable management and horse welfare as needed.Requirements

• Demonstrated success in elite show jumping and coaching, preferably working with advanced or high-performance riders.
• Outstanding horsemanship skills, with the ability to ride, train, and manage competition-level horses.
• Previous experience in private, high-profile, or VIP training environments is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication, patience, and leadership abilities.
• Proven ability to maintain the highest level of discretion and professionalism at all times.
• Strong physical fitness and commitment to meeting the demands of the role.
• Relevant certifications in equestrian coaching or riding instruction are considered an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of horse care, stable operations, and competition preparation.
• Must be available in Abu Dhabi for a trial if needed.
• Ability to speak Arabic is an added advantage.Benefits

Salary: AED 14,000 - AED 16,000, plus other benefits as per the UAE Labor law.
