Traffic Inspector

This role will involve conducting inspections and evaluations of traffic control and enforcement processes, monitoring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing insightful recommendations for improvements based on observed data. As a Traffic Inspector at Applus+, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide top-notch services and contribute to the safety and efficiency of transportation systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of traffic control measures and enforcement activities to ensure compliance with approved standards and regulations.
• Evaluate traffic patterns, road signage, and signaling systems, providing insights on potential improvements.
• Prepare detailed reports based on inspection findings and suggest corrective actions to enhance traffic safety.
• Inspect road preparation works including grading, leveling, compaction, and base course activities.
• Ensure the road surface is properly prepared before asphalt laying and traffic control installation.
• Monitor excavation, backfilling, and pavement structure works.
• Verify alignment, road levels, and cross-sections as per approved drawings.
• Ensure proper drainage preparation before road surfacing.
• Coordinate with site engineers prior to installing traffic signs, barriers, and road markings.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain daily inspection reports and documentation.Requirements

• Bacholar's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience in traffic inspection, enforcement, or a similar role within the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent observational and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, able to present findings clearly and professionally.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using data analysis tools and Microsoft Office applications.
