Testing & Commissioning Manager (EOI)

JASARA PMC is excited to announce an opportunity for a Testing & Commissioning Manager - Rail to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on overseeing the testing and commissioning processes for rail projects, ensuring that all systems meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. You will play a critical role in advancing the modern rail infrastructure across the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive testing and commissioning strategies for rail systems, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the planning and execution of testing and commissioning activities for electrical, mechanical, signaling, and control systems within rail projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operational teams to ensure efficient handover of systems for testing and commissioning.
• Conduct inspections, tests, and assessments to validate system performance against specifications.
• Prepare detailed project reports on testing and commissioning outcomes, providing clear documentation of compliance and issue resolution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding testing and commissioning-related matters.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies related to commissioning activities.
• Mentor and guide testing and commissioning teams, ensuring high levels of performance and compliance with safety regulations. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in testing and commissioning , 10 years within the rail sector or similar infrastructure projects.
• Proven expertise in managing the testing and commissioning of complex rail systems and components.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to rail systems.
• Exceptional leadership and project management abilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of safety practices and quality assurance in rail projects.
• Professional certifications related to project management or commissioning are an asset.
