SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly qualified Specialist in Pain Medicine to join our private sector healthcare team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver advanced pain management services to a diverse patient population seeking expert care in a private practice setting.
As a Specialist Pain Medicine physician, you will be responsible for comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients experiencing acute and chronic pain. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed clinical evaluations and diagnostic assessments of patients with pain disorders
• Design and execute personalized pain management plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Perform interventional pain procedures such as nerve blocks, injections, and other minimally invasive therapies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists, psychologists, and other specialists
• Provide patient education and counseling regarding pain management options and expectations
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and ensure adherence to privacy and regulatory standards
• Keep abreast of recent advances and best practices in Pain Medicine and incorporate these into clinical practice Requirements
• Medical degree and specialist certification in Pain Medicine
• Proven clinical experience in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic pain conditions
• Expertise in interventional pain procedures and multimodal pain management strategies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for consultation and collaboration
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
