Role Overview:
The Business Manager oversees the full management of AtoG Labsāoperationally, commercially, and in all certification and compliance aspects. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, ensuring the lab operates as a scalable, profitable, and compliant centre of excellence in molecular and genetic testing.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Lead all day-to-day operations across logistics, administration, client services, and support functions.
ā¢ Develop commercial strategies to grow partnerships with hospitals, medical groups, and diagnostic networks across the GCC.
ā¢ Oversee budgeting, P&L management, and cost control while driving revenue growth.
ā¢ Manage regulatory and accreditation processes for ISO 15189, CAP, and DHA/DOH/MOHAP licensure.
ā¢ Ensure operational compliance with molecular and clinical testing standards.
ā¢ Collaborate closely with the Lab Director to align technical excellence with commercial objectives.
ā¢ Implement business intelligence tools for operational monitoring and continuous improvement.
ā¢ Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluation to build a high-performing team culture.Requirements
ā¢ Bachelorās or Masterās in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or Life Sciences.
ā¢ 7+ years in healthcare operations, ideally within diagnostics, molecular, or clinical labs.
ā¢ Familiarity with lab accreditation and licensing standards (ISO, DHA, CAP).
ā¢ Strong financial planning, analytical, and leadership capabilities.
ā¢ Proven ability to grow business lines in competitive healthcare markets.
ā¢ Excellent English; Arabic a plus.
