A reputed private hospital in the UAE is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Oral & Dental Surgeon (Western Qualified) to provide comprehensive oral and dental surgical care to patients across all age groups. The successful candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of oral and maxillofacial conditions while delivering exceptional patient care in accordance with international clinical standards and UAE healthcare regulations.
The Specialist will work collaboratively with prosthodontists, orthodontists, periodontists, endodontists, ENT specialists, plastic surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Diagnose and manage diseases, injuries, and disorders affecting the oral cavity, teeth, jaws, facial bones, and associated soft tissues.
- Perform routine and complex tooth extractions, including impacted third molars.
- Carry out dentoalveolar surgical procedures and pre-prosthetic surgery.
- Diagnose and surgically manage odontogenic cysts, benign oral lesions, oral infections, and maxillofacial trauma within the scope of practice.
- Perform surgical placement of dental implants and bone grafting procedures where appropriately credentialed.
- Manage oral infections, facial swellings, and dental emergencies.
- Evaluate patients using clinical examinations, CBCT imaging, radiographs, and other diagnostic tools.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with restorative dentists, orthodontists, prosthodontists, and periodontists for multidisciplinary treatment planning.
- Counsel patients regarding treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, expected outcomes, and postoperative care.
- Prescribe medications and pain management therapies in accordance with evidence-based practice and hospital policies.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical and dental records.
- Ensure compliance with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP regulations, infection prevention protocols, radiation safety standards, and hospital quality policies.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, continuing professional development (CPD/CME), and departmental meetings.
- Participate in emergency and on-call services as required by the hospital.

Requirements
- •Western Qualified Specialist Oral Dental Surgeon
- •Experience in diagnosing and managing oral cavity, teeth, jaws, and facial bone conditions
- •Ability to perform routine and complex tooth extractions (including impacted third molars)
- •Proficiency in dentoalveolar surgical procedures and pre-prosthetic surgery
- •Experience in surgical placement of dental implants and bone grafting
- •Knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations (DHA, DOH, or MOHAP)
- •Ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- •Proficiency in evaluating patients using CBCT imaging and radiographs
