Responsibilities
⢠Assist in menu planning and preparation of high-quality Italian dishes.
⢠Oversee kitchen operations and ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
⢠Support the Head Chef in training, mentoring, and supervising kitchen staff.
⢠Ensure that all food safety regulations and sanitation practices are followed.
⢠Manage inventory, including ordering and controlling stock levels of ingredients.
⢠Collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal menus and special dishes.
⢠Assist with kitchen administration tasks as necessary. Requirements
⢠Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Italian restaurant or similar culinary environment.
⢠Proven experience in a Sous Chef role or as a Chef de Partie.
⢠Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and its culinary techniques.
⢠Excellent leadership and team management skills.
⢠Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
⢠Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
⢠Culinary degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
⢠Willingness to relocate to DRC for this position. Benefits
The net take home salary is USD 3000/- per month plus free accommodation, transport and food allowance
