Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
⢠Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems across production and development environments.
⢠Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure.
⢠Perform system upgrades, patching, and security hardening.
⢠Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, network, and application issues.
⢠Manage user access, permissions, and system security policies.
⢠Automate routine tasks using scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
⢠Collaborate with DevOps, network, and security teams to optimize infrastructure.
⢠Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
⢠Maintain system documentation, procedures, and configurations.Requirements:
⢠Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
⢠Minimum of 5ā8 years of experience in Linux system administration.
⢠Strong experience with major Linux distributions (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
⢠Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools.
⢠Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
⢠Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, etc.).
⢠Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
⢠Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef) is preferred.
⢠Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
⢠Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Qualifications:
⢠Relevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, or equivalent.

Requirements
