As a pivotal component of Saudi Arabia's transformative vision, Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for an accomplished Commercial Director specializing in Residential projects. In this senior leadership role, you will be entrusted with driving the commercial strategy for our expansive residential development portfolio.
Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all commercial aspects from initial planning through to execution, ensuring that residential projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including project management, finance, and legal teams, to enable successful project outcomes while maximizing financial returns.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the commercial strategy for residential developments, aligning with Qiddiya's corporate objectives.
- Manage the commercial teams to ensure effective procurement, contract management, and cost control for all residential projects.
- Lead negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for residential projects to ensure they meet financial and timeline targets.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements associated with residential developments.
- Identify and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle and implement necessary mitigation strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, local communities, and regulatory agencies.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for the commercial team.Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- At least 15 years of experience in commercial management within the residential construction sector, full lifecycle "cradle to grave' commercial experience required.
- Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
- Substantial expertise in contract management, procurement processes, and financial oversight.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in negotiations and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Benefits
