Senior Lead, Sourcing Strategy

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities (as defined in above section), including preparation of RFP / RFQ /RFI in line with organization policies, drive technical evaluation of vendor proposals, technical rating and commercials. Provide contract interpretation especially technology-service-oriented aspects to SVM, Legal and other stakeholders teams, as required
• Drive value through contract management in collaboration with stakeholder within group technology. Partner with the SVM and Legal team, to provide inputs and feedback
• Identify potential transition / migration possibilities, focusing on strategic advantage amongst suppliers rendering services to group technology.
• Leverage supplier go to market strategies, identify and assist in pitching consolidation and value engineering opportunities to business units
• Support sourcing related negotiations, coaching, and mentoring across group technology. Contribute to contractual edits, escalations where required and liaising with internal legal counsel. Supports sharing of knowledge, best practices and learning within the team Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in business, technology, or related fields. Certifications related to project, program management or change management (preferable)

Experience:
- 12-15 years with significant experience in Strategic Sourcing for technology
- 5+ years of experience working with technology services vendors with strong understanding of IT function,
- Ability to negotiate contract elements as part of contract creation
- 5+ years of experience in managing vendor to vendor transitions / migrations of technology services (step-in scenarios, included)
- 2+ years of Strategic Sourcing experience within the UAE / GCC (preferred). Experience in international strategic sourcing is a plus.
- Experience working in a banking environment (preferred).

- Fluent in English (written and verbal). Advanced analytical skills. Arabic is optional
- Strong presentation preparation and delivery skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications e.g. Excel, Power Point, Word.
- Intermediate knowledge of data visualization tools e.g. PowerBI,
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines.
