Senior IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / IIB Integration Developer - Banking

As a Senior IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / IIB Integration Developer, you will contribute to integration initiatives that support business-critical operations, working closely with technical and business teams to deliver stable, scalable, and high-performing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
• Develop and maintain complex message flows using ESQL, Java, and graphical mapping.
• Design and implement integrations using IBM MQ, REST, SOAP, APIs, JMS, and file-based interfaces.
• Perform data transformation and mapping using XML, JSON, and other enterprise data formats.
• Integrate core banking applications, databases, APIs, and other enterprise systems.
• Work with IBM MQ queues, channels, Dead Letter Queues (DLQs), and messaging configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and production issues.
• Participate in solution design, technical discussions, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Ensure integration solutions meet required security, performance, reliability, and scalability standards.
• Collaborate with solution architects, application teams, infrastructure, security teams, and business stakeholders.
• Support enterprise-scale integration environments and ensure high availability and operational stability.
• Analyze integration failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• 10+ years of IT experience with strong IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) or IBM Integration Bus (IIB) expertise.
• Hands-on production support experience for IBM ACE or IIB integration solutions, including troubleshooting live production failures, supporting deployments, releases, and configuration changes, and monitoring integration flows for performance or connectivity issues.
• Experience implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurring integration issues, including performing root cause analysis for complex integration and messaging problems.
• Strong experience with IBM MQ, including queues, channels, Dead Letter Queues (DLQs), and messaging configurations.
• Hands-on experience building and supporting IBM ACE or IIB message flows using ESQL, along with REST and SOAP web services, JMS, and API integrations for enterprise or banking applications.
• Experience using XML and JSON for message transformation and mapping.
• Background in banking or financial services, including integrating core banking systems, payment platforms, banking applications, APIs, databases, and other enterprise systems.
• Solid experience with end-to-end banking integration patterns, including system-to-system integration, messaging, APIs, data transformation, and production support.
• Experience working within incident management, SLA, and change management processes.
• Proven ability to collaborate with solution or integration architects, application or development teams, infrastructure or middleware teams, security teams, and database or network teams during solution design, deployments, and production incident resolution.
• Experience in payments or core banking is a plus.
• Comfort working directly with business or banking stakeholders during requirements clarification, incident resolution, and delivery discussions is a plus.
