Job Description
The Account Manager is responsible for developing and growing relationships with existing customers while ensuring exceptional service delivery and identifying opportunities for long-term business growth. This role serves as a trusted advisor to customers, building strong partnerships across all levels of the organization and collaborating with internal teams to deliver value-driven logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen relationships with assigned customer accounts.
- Develop a thorough understanding of customers' business objectives, supply chain needs, and growth strategies.
- Expand relationships beyond the primary point of contact and establish connections across multiple levels of customer organizations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and ongoing support.
- Identify, develop, and secure opportunities to grow business within existing accounts.
- Lead business reviews and present solutions that enhance customer value and operational performance.
- Collaborate with Operations, Product, and Service teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Maintain accurate customer information, account plans, and opportunities within CRM systems.
- Monitor account performance and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Stay informed on Expeditors' products, services, and technology solutions to effectively support customer needs.
- Serve as the customer's advocate while balancing company objectives and profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, account management, or business development.
- Proven ability to build customer relationships and grow existing accounts.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Professional English and Arabic communication skills, both written and verbal.
