Senior Civil Underground Engineer

We are currently seeking Senior Civil Underground Engineer, reporting directly to the HOD to join our Civil Department team based in Doha, Qatar.

Job purpose:

• Ensures continuity of engineering to site.

• Is in charge of technical interfaces with the sub-contractors.

• Is In charge of resolving first level problems at site.

• Performs simple calculations and draws sketches for any modification work at site.

Reporting lines and interactions:

• Hierarchically reports to: HOD, Civil.

• Operationally reports to: Manager –HOD, Civil.

• Key interactions (internally, externally): Discipline Manager and vendors.

Profile Must Have:

• Experience using CIVIL3D software on various projects. Executed at least couple of projects using Civil 3D.

• Experience on designing grading, all types of drainage systems (Storm water, Oily water, Chemical and Sanitary water), Roads and Paving’s, fencing corridor planning, drainage, roads, access ways (for construction, operation, maintenance), rough and final grading, etc.

• Experience in using international codes including AASHTO, American and euro codes and standards.

• Experience in using shell DEP, QCS specifications

• Experience of working in various 3D platforms and extraction of Composite layouts, Area drawings, General civil layouts, grading and drainage layouts and Site development drawings etc.

• Should have Graduate/post graduate engineering degree.

• Should have 10+ years of experience in U/G services or General Civil Engineering in oil and gas/refinery projects.

• Qatar/Gulf experience in medium and large-scale projects is preferred.
