Job Description
The Senior Project Surveyor is responsible for the successful delivery of projects across the full spectrum of cost management activities, operating with minimal supervision while leading and mentoring a team. This role plays a key part in client engagement, project execution, and commercial performance across a portfolio of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
⢠Lead the delivery of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and organisational standards.
⢠Manage project services using Workbench and other relevant systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
⢠Function as Project Manager on up to three active projects, overseeing scope, schedule, and budget.
⢠Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
⢠Ensure client approval for any scope changes or additional work, maintaining transparency and contractual compliance.
⢠Brief and guide project teams to ensure clear understanding of roles, responsibilities, and project scopes.
⢠Monitor and manage the performance of direct reports, providing mentorship and development opportunities to support their growth.
⢠Allocate and manage resources effectively across large or multiple smaller projects within budget constraints.
⢠Ensure timely cash collection in accordance with contract terms.
⢠Benchmark project data to support cost planning and value engineering.
⢠Maintain accountability for project deliverables and financial performance.
⢠Ensure all project deliverables comply with internal Project Delivery Standards (PDS) and quality assurance protocols.
⢠Adhere to all QA requirements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
⢠Bachelorās degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
⢠8+ years post graduate expereince
⢠MRICS.
