About the Role
As a Senior Architectural Designer, you will play a key role in shaping Flow Real Estate MENA’s portfolio of wellness-driven residential, hospitality, and lifestyle properties.
Working closely with the Head of Design, Project Directors, Interior Design, Development, Operations, and external consultants, you will translate Flow’s vision and brand standards into thoughtful, functional, and high-quality environments. You will contribute across all project phases, from feasibility and concept development through design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
The ideal candidate is a design-led architect who combines strong creative thinking, technical expertise, and an understanding of wellness, hospitality, residential living, and human-centered design.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on concept design, feasibility studies, programming, schematic design, design development, presentations, and production.
- Translate Flow’s brand vision and wellness-focused approach into architectural solutions across residential, hospitality, and lifestyle developments.
- Develop designs that promote well-being, natural connection, movement, social interaction, privacy, comfort, and a strong sense of place.
- Contribute to the planning and design of residential units, amenities, wellness facilities, hospitality spaces, communal areas, and lifestyle environments.
- Ensure seamless coordination between architecture, interiors, landscape, lighting, MEP, structural, and specialist consultants.
- Develop and maintain design solutions aligned with Flow Brand Standards and project-specific requirements.
- Utilize Revit to develop 2D drawings, 3D models, design studies, plans, elevations, sections, and construction documentation.
- Resolve complex design issues with innovative, practical, operationally-minded, and commercially viable solutions.
- Evaluate layouts considering resident experience, functionality, circulation, accessibility, furniture planning, and long-term usability.
- Conduct product and material research and support material and product selections.
- Coordinate and review consultant and contractor submissions, including shop drawings, material submittals, samples, RFIs, and technical submissions.
- Participate in construction administration, site inspections, design reviews, and project progress reporting.
- Maintain project documentation and support the development of Flow’s architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining design quality and delivery standards.
- Travel to Flow properties and project sites across the region as required .
Ideal Background
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional architectural experience, preferably in residential, hospitality, mixed-use, wellness, or lifestyle developments.
- Strong understanding of residential architecture, hospitality environments, amenities, and contemporary living spaces.
- Experience designing environments where wellness, lifestyle, resident/neighbor experience, and brand identity are key considerations.
- Highly proficient in Revit, with strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite. Bluebeam and Figma are preferred.
- Strong ability to develop conceptual designs, presentations, and construction documentation.
- Strong knowledge of architectural building systems, materials, detailing, accessibility, and functional building operations.
- Understanding of the relationship between architecture, interior design, landscape, lighting, wellness, and hospitality operations.
- Knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and local authority requirements is highly desirable.
- Excellent English communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, creative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment.
- Passion for wellness, hospitality, residential living, lifestyle design, and human-centered environments.
- Familiarity with Dynamo, BIM, computational design, LEED, WELL, or Fitwel is a plus.
- Professional architectural licensure is a plus.
