Job Description
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Senior Architect to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. In this pivotal role, you will lead architectural initiatives on large-scale projects, ensuring design excellence, regulatory compliance, and seamless collaboration across all stakeholders. As a Senior Architect, you will be instrumental in translating architectural vision into reality while maintaining the highest standards of quality and innovation. - Oversee and direct all architectural aspects of large-scale construction projects, ensuring design intent is realized with precision and excellence
- Lead and mentor architectural teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creative problem-solving
- Coordinate seamlessly with contractors, engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders to resolve design and construction challenges efficiently
- Conduct comprehensive quality control assessments of materials, workmanship, and construction processes to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards
- Analyze and interpret architectural plans, building codes, and regulatory requirements to ensure all construction activities meet local and international compliance standards
- Manage project budgets and timelines, making decisive adjustments as necessary to maintain project goals and stakeholder satisfaction
- Prepare detailed progress reports and documentation, including daily site logs, inspection reports, and change orders, maintaining transparent communication with clients and stakeholders
- Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to ensure project resilience and successful delivery
- Engage directly with clients to understand project objectives, address concerns, and ensure their vision is achieved throughout the construction process
- Champion innovative architectural solutions and best practices, continuously improving project delivery methodologies and organizational processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of demonstrable, progressive experience in architectural supervision, project administration, and large-scale project delivery within the Middle East region
- Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent professional qualification
- Proven expertise in architectural design implementation, construction site management, and quality assurance
- Strong proficiency with CAD software, BIM (Building Information Modeling) platforms, and project management tools
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to mentor and develop architectural professionals
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to project delivery
- Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and compliance requirements applicable to the Middle East region
- Excellent stakeholder communication and client relations skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Experience in budget oversight, cost management, and resource allocation for complex projects
- Professional membership in a recognized architectural institution (PE, PEng, CEng, or equivalent) - preferred
- LEED GA, LEED AP, or equivalent sustainability certification - preferred
- Experience in consulting industry or with consulting organizations - preferred
