Scrum Master

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile professional who can efficiently manage the dual role of Scrum Master and Product Owner for a high-stakes project. The ideal candidate will have experience in agile methodologies, technical documentation, and product lifecycle management. The engagement will require full-time, on-premises availability for a duration of 6 to 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Serve as the Product Owner, gathering and prioritizing requirements, defining user stories, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Bridge the gap between technical and business teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and project progress reports.

• Drive the team toward project goals while managing scope, budget, and timelines.

• Monitor and manage sprint backlogs, product backlogs, and release plans.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

1. Scrum Master Expertise: Proven experience in leading Agile teams and processes.

2. Product Ownership: Hands-on experience in defining product roadmaps and managing backlogs.

3. Technical Documentation: Proficiency in creating and managing technical documentation for development teams and stakeholders.

Good-to-Have Skills:

1. Knowledge of .NET technologies for effective technical discussions.

2. Familiarity with API integrations and understanding of their workflows.

3. Negotiation Skills to align diverse stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively.

4. Prior experience in the finance or banking industry will be a strong advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is preferred.

• 4+ years of experience in a Scrum Master and/or Product Owner role
