Product & Project Manager - IoT Platform

We’re hiring for a fast-growing technology company building a unified IoT platform across multiple business lines.

This is not a “sit back and manage” role.

This is for someone who owns the product and makes sure it actually ships.

You’ll sit at the intersection of:

• product thinking
• engineering execution
• business priorities And you’ll be the person who makes all three move in the same direction.

What You’ll Own

Product Management

• Define and manage the product roadmap
• Prioritise features based on:
• customer value
• business impact
• engineering bandwidth
•
• Write clear user stories + acceptance criteria (no ambiguity for engineers)
• Define MVP scope with strict discipline (no feature creep)
• Run structured requirements discovery with internal and external stakeholders
• Track competitors (IoT platforms, cloud ecosystems, etc.)
• Build product collateral:
• one-pagers
• demo scripts
• integration guides
•

Project & Delivery Management

• Run full Agile cycles (planning → execution → review → retros)
• Manage distributed engineering teams across time zones
• Own project health dashboards (no surprises to leadership)
• Track risks early:
• dependencies
• blockers
• mitigation plans
•
• Maintain documentation ecosystem:
• architecture decisions
• product specs
• onboarding guides
•
• Monitor budget vs actuals
• Coordinate with internal teams (HR, Finance, Legal) to keep delivery unblocked

Stakeholder Management

• Prepare board-level monthly updates
• Manage structured requirements intake pipeline
• Own client demo environments
• Coordinate with hardware/OEM partners on integrations

What We’re Looking For (Must-Have)

• 4–8 years in Product / Project Management within a product-based tech company
• Strong IoT understanding:
• MQTT
• device lifecycle
• APIs
• cloud IoT ecosystems
(You don’t code—but you must understand enough to challenge engineers)

• Proven experience:
• owning a roadmap
• making trade-offs
• shipping real products
•
• Hands-on Agile execution (not just attending meetings—you’ve run them)
• Comfortable with ambiguity and zero-process environments
• Strong written communication (you’ll write everything that matters)
• Experience with tools like:
• Jira / Linear
• Notion / Confluence
•
• Based in UAE or ready to relocate immediately (non-negotiable)

Nice to Have

• Experience in:
• IoT platforms
• industrial tech
• hardware + software ecosystems
•
• Exposure to AWS / Azure (basic admin level)
• Certifications (CSPO / PMP / PRINCE2)
• Arabic language skills
