As a Pre-Sales Engineer (Sales Engineer ā Technical), you will be the technical owner during the pre-sales cycleāsupporting customer engagements from the first meeting through solution design, demos/POCs, proposal development, and handover to delivery.You will build customer trust, reduce technical uncertainty, and help close opportunities by clearly connecting technical capabilities to measurable business outcomes.Key Responsibilities
Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, pain points, constraints, and success criteriaDesign solution approaches and service scopes aligned to customer requirements and delivery feasibilityDeliver technical presentations, workshops, product/service walkthroughs, and proof-of-concepts (POCs)Support sales with technical qualification, objection handling, and solution positioningDevelop technical content for proposals and RFP responses (architecture diagrams, solution narratives, assumptions/dependencies)Act as the technical liaison between customers, sales, and delivery to ensure clean handovers and scope integrityStay current on cybersecurity technologies, threat landscape trends, and best practices relevant to customer engagementsRequirements
Must-Have
2ā4+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales / Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer role within cybersecurityStrong foundational knowledge across core domains: networking, endpoints, identity, cloud basics, and security logging/monitoringExcellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging both technical and business stakeholdersAbility to translate technical concepts into business value (risk reduction, operational improvement, compliance alignment)Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Requirements
- ā¢2ā4+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales / Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer role within cybersecurity.
