We are seeking a qualified Podiatrist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and preventing disorders affecting the foot, ankle, and lower extremities. The role involves providing conservative and minor surgical podiatric care, managing diabetic foot conditions, sports injuries, and biomechanical disorders while ensuring compliance with DOH regulations and international clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat disorders affecting the foot, ankle, and lower limbs.
- Manage patients with diabetic foot complications, ulcers, neuropathy, peripheral vascular disease, and wound care requirements.
- Perform routine podiatric procedures, including nail surgery, callus and corn management, debridement, and treatment of plantar warts and fungal infections.
- Evaluate and manage musculoskeletal and biomechanical disorders of the foot and ankle.
- Prescribe and fit orthotic devices, footwear modifications, and assistive devices where appropriate.
- Provide gait analysis and rehabilitation plans for patients with foot and ankle disorders.
- Perform minor podiatric surgical procedures within granted clinical privileges.
- Collaborate with endocrinologists, orthopedic surgeons, vascular surgeons, rehabilitation specialists, physiotherapists, wound care nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients on foot care, diabetic foot prevention, injury prevention, and long-term management.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, infection prevention, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, hospital policies, and evidence-based clinical practice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from a recognized institution.
- Postgraduate qualification or specialized training in Podiatry is preferred.
- Valid DOH License or DOH Eligibility Letter as a Podiatrist, or eligibility to obtain one.
- International certifications in diabetic foot care, wound management, biomechanics, or sports podiatry are an advantage.

Requirements
- •Bachelor's Degree or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from a recognized institution
