Otolaryngologist in a reputed hospital UAE

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Consultant / Specialist Otolaryngologist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Otolaryngology, ENT, ear, nose and throat disorders, head and neck conditions, and both medical and surgical ENT care, with a commitment to patient safety and excellent clinical outcomes.

The successful candidate will work closely with audiologists, speech therapists, radiologists, neurologists, pulmonologists, pediatricians, maxillofacial surgeons, oncologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ENT consultations and clinical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of ear, nose, throat, head, and neck conditions.
• Develop individualized medical and surgical treatment plans based on clinical assessment and diagnostic findings.
• Perform appropriate ENT surgical procedures within the physician's training, competence, and approved clinical scope.
• Manage common ENT conditions including sinusitis, nasal obstruction, otitis media, tonsillitis, adenoid disorders, hearing problems, tinnitus, vertigo, and voice disorders.
• Perform appropriate diagnostic procedures such as nasal endoscopy, nasoendoscopy, laryngoscopy, and otoscopy.
• Perform surgical procedures such as septoplasty, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, endoscopic sinus surgery, tympanoplasty, and other ENT procedures according to clinical expertise.
• Evaluate and manage patients with chronic sinus disease, allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, and upper airway disorders.
• Assess and manage hearing, balance, dizziness, tinnitus, and other otological conditions.
• Evaluate and manage voice, swallowing, and laryngeal disorders.
• Diagnose and manage head and neck infections, masses, and other structural conditions.
• Assess patients with suspected head and neck tumors and coordinate appropriate investigations and specialist care.
• Manage ENT emergencies including epistaxis, airway obstruction, foreign bodies, acute infections, and other urgent conditions.
• Review and interpret audiological assessments, CT, MRI, X-rays, ultrasound, and other relevant diagnostic investigations.
• Provide appropriate pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, expected outcomes, and recovery.
• Collaborate with audiologists and speech therapists in the management of hearing, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care for complex ENT and head and neck cases.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and confidential medical records.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, patient-safety initiatives, teaching, and continuing professional development.
MBBS, MD, or equivalent recognized medical qualification.

Recognized postgraduate qualification in Otolaryngology / ENT / Head & Neck Surgery or an equivalent specialty.

Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.

Strong experience in general ENT clinical practice.

Good experience in both medical and surgical management of ENT conditions.

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

Ability to manage routine, complex, and emergency ENT cases.

Good knowledge of modern ENT diagnostic and surgical techniques.

Excellent communication and patient-management skills.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
