About the Role
As an Operations Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and guiding visitors through the attraction. Your primary role will be to enhance the visitor experience by assisting guests and ensuring their safety and enjoyment throughout their visit. You will play a crucial role in creating memorable moments for visitors and fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome visitors to the facility and provide an overview of the experience.
- Assist guests with navigation within the facility, providing directions and answering questions as / when needed.
- Ensure the safety of visitors by enforcing exhibition rules and guidelines, monitoring guest behavior, and responding to any safety concerns or emergencies.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing visitor inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the facility, including monitoring and tidying up as needed.
- Stay informed about upcoming events, exhibitions, and promotions and communicate relevant information to visitors.
- Uphold the values and mission, representing the brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a passion for art and technology.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Excellent communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking) in English
- Ability to use Microsoft Office to a good standard (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Good problem-solving skills
- Analytical skills (to identify trends in provided data)
- Ability to act quickly and think on your feet
Desirable
- 1 year of experience working in an operational department within the hospitality or leisure industry (i.e. Operations, Ground Crew, Guest Services, Soft Services, Security)
- Knowledge of dry theme parks and attractions, specifically Operational departments (i.e. Operations, Ground Crew, Guest Services, Soft Services, Security)
