We are excited to invite applications for the role of Medical Oncologist. We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable professional to provide exceptional care to patients diagnosed with cancer. In this position, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, treating, and supporting patients throughout their cancer journey.
Your expertise in oncology will enable you to design personalized treatment plans, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in advancing cancer care through research and clinical trials. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and interpret diagnostic tests to determine cancer diagnoses.
• Develop and recommend individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
• Monitor patients throughout their treatment, managing side effects, and adjusting treatment regimens as necessary.
• Collaborate with a team of oncologists, radiologists, surgeons, and support staff to provide holistic care.
• Educate patients and families on cancer treatment processes, expectations, and available resources.
• Engage in clinical research and stay current with advancements in oncology to improve treatment protocols.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records.Requirements
• M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Medical Oncology.
• Board certification in Medical Oncology.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a clinical oncology setting.
• Strong knowledge of cancer therapies, clinical trials, and patient management strategies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork and continuous professional development.
• Active medical license to practice in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
