We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Oncologist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert medical care to cancer patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of therapeutic interventions.
As a Medical Oncologist, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, uphold the highest standards of clinical practice, and contribute to continuous improvement in oncology services.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and diagnose patients with various malignancies through thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans involving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive care.
• Manage and monitor patient treatment progress, side effects, and adjust plans accordingly.
• Work closely with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists in a multidisciplinary approach.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis.
• Participate in oncology research and keep abreast of the latest advancements in cancer therapies.
• Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.Requirements
• Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent) with residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Medical Oncology.
• Board certification in Medical Oncology.
• At least 3-5 years of clinical experience in medical oncology.
• Strong knowledge of oncology treatment protocols and patient management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and oncology research.
• Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
