Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector - Mechanical to join our building project team.. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of mechanical systems and equipment. Working under direct supervision, you will perform routine inspections, verify adherence to design specifications, and maintain comprehensive documentation of all findings. Your meticulous attention to detail and technical expertise will help us maintain the highest standards of mechanical integrity across our operations.
⢠Conduct routine mechanical inspections and field walk-downs to verify compliance with design specifications and engineering standards
⢠Perform estimating take-offs and quantity tracking for mechanical components and systems
⢠Document and report installed quantities, inspection findings, and any deviations from design requirements with transparency and accuracy
⢠Analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements and inspection criteria
⢠Utilize measurement and testing equipment to assess mechanical systems, equipment performance, and structural integrity
⢠Identify and report deficiencies, non-conformances, or safety concerns in a timely and professional manner
⢠Collaborate with engineering teams, contractors, and project managers to resolve identified issues and ensure corrective actions
⢠Maintain organized and detailed inspection records, reports, and documentation for quality assurance purposes
⢠Perform inspections to verify adherence to applicable mechanical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
⢠Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing analytical feedback on inspection processes and findings
⢠Communicate inspection results clearly to stakeholders through written reports and verbal briefings
Qualifications
⢠Diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical inspection or related field preferred
⢠8 years of experience
⢠Proven experience performing mechanical inspections, quality assurance, or field inspection duties
⢠Solid knowledge of basic engineering principles and mechanical systems
⢠Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
⢠Experience working in the UAE or Middle Eastern markets

Requirements
