Job Description
Why This Role Matters
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical works across construction projects. The role ensures that mechanical systems are delivered in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. Working closely with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders, the Mechanical Engineer contributes to the successful delivery of high-quality developments while gaining valuable experience in the construction industry.
What You'll Drive
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and monitoring of mechanical works on site.
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Support the execution of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor work progress and ensure activities are completed according to approved schedules.
- Conduct site inspections and identify potential quality, safety, or technical issues.
- Assist in resolving design, installation, and construction-related challenges.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, project specifications, and HSE requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Participate in meetings with project stakeholders and support project delivery objectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.
Qualifications
You're a Great Fit If You Have
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in construction, building services, or MEP projects.
- Exposure to construction finishing and mechanical systems is preferred.
- Internship or trainee experience within the construction industry is an advantage.Skills & Competencies
