ABOUT THE ROLE

ased in the Head Office in Dubai, and reporting to the VP Commercial & Tendering - Offshore , this role will be responsible for conducting in-depth market research and analysis to support the organization's strategic decision-making and business development initiatives within the marine logistics sector.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the marine logistics sector with focus on the offshore oil and gas and the renewable sector.

• Gather and analyze data on competitors, customers, and market conditions to support business development, marketing, and sales efforts.

• Monitor industry news, publications, and regulatory updates to stay current on market developments and provide actionable insights to the organization.

• Develop and maintain forecasting models to predict future market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and pricing fluctuations within the oil and gas sector.

• Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Finance, to provide data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making and initiatives.

• Create clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate research findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.

• Assist in the development of market segmentation and targeting strategies to optimize the organization's market position and growth opportunities.

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and sales campaigns, providing recommendations for improvement based on data analysis.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of market research methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance the quality and accuracy of research findings.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's services and value propositions to effectively analyze and interpret market data within the context of the oil and gas industry.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a market research or analyst role, preferably in the marine logistics industry, with a focus on the oil and gas and offshore renewables sectors.Key Attributes

• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
