We are seeking an experienced IT Portfolio Lead ā Cloud ERP to play a critical role in strengthening portfolio governance, driving delivery excellence, and enabling dataādriven investment decisions across our enterprise technology landscape.
This is a 36-month fixed-term contract based in Dubai, with 5 days per week in the office.
As IT Portfolio Lead ā Cloud ERP, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving Portfolio and Programme Management Office (PMO) practices that ensure the successful, timely, and costāeffective delivery of complex Cloud ERP initiatives. You will also play a key role in supporting the organisationās transition to new ways of working by evolving governance frameworks, processes, and reporting to support an increasingly dynamic and integrated portfolio.
As an IT Portfolio Lead, you will:
⢠Design and implement consistent PMO best practices across Cloud ERP portfolios and programmes to ensure the successful and timely delivery of initiatives within approved cost, scope, and funding constraints.
⢠Implement and uphold portfolio funding and investment governance, monitoring performance and providing dataādriven insights to senior stakeholders to support informed prioritisation and investment decisions.
⢠Design and deliver portfolio, programme, and projectālevel reporting for senior management, supported by effective tools enablement, coaching, mentoring, and quality assurance.
⢠Lead the evolution of PMO processes, frameworks, and governance models to support new ways of working and an increasingly dynamic Cloud ERP portfolio environment.
⢠Drive the transition from traditional PMO practices to an Agile PMO, supporting objective milestones, LeanāAgile budgeting, and outcomeāfocused delivery.
⢠Act as a trusted advisory and communication partner on portfolio strategy, enabling strong collaboration between the PMO, Product Portfolio Managers, and Business Partners.
⢠Develop and implement a consistent PMO methodology for managing schedules, resources, budgets, risks, dependencies, and performance metrics in line with governance standards.
⢠Measure and manage overall programme and portfolio performance, ensuring accurate tracking of delivery, cost, risk, issues, dependencies, and benefits.
⢠Play a key role in annual budget preparation, capacity planning, expenditure tracking, and cost recovery across the Cloud ERP portfolio.
Qualification
To be considered for the role you must meet the below requirements
⢠Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) with extensive experience in portfolio, programme, or enterpriseāscale delivery management within a large, complex organisation.
⢠Minimum of 5 years proven experience designing and operating PMO or Portfolio Management frameworks, including funding governance, performance reporting, and executiveālevel decision support.
⢠Strong experience driving organisational change, including the transition from traditional PMO models to Agile or LeanāAgile portfolio governance.
⢠Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, executives, and crossāfunctional teams in a matrix and global environment.
⢠Strong analytical capability with a proven track record of delivering dataādriven insights to support investment, prioritisation, and capacity decisions.
⢠Experience with portfolio, programme, and project management tools and enterprise reporting platforms.
⢠Professional certifications in portfolio, programme, project, or agile delivery management are desirable.Leadership role: No
