JASARA PMC is seeking a committed and experienced HSE Manager to enhance our team. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and site inspections to ensure compliance with local and international safety standards.
- Lead training initiatives to cultivate awareness and adherence to HSE practices among all employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents and near misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Compile and present reports on HSE performance metrics and compliance status to management.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.
- Stay abreast of changes in HSE legislation and best practices, ensuring the organization remains compliant and informed.Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in HSE management, particularly in the construction sector.
- Thorough understanding of HSE legislation, standards, and procedures.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence a safety culture across various teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and train employees at all levels.
- Certifications in HSE (NEBOSH, OSHA) or equivalent are preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
