Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified HSE Engineer with KNPC approval to join our team in Kuwait Project Team. The HSE Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs, ensuring compliance with KNPC regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Have strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices and behavioral aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business.
- Able to lead a team of HSE professionals such as HSE Engineers, Sr. HSE officers, HSE officers etc.
- Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements.
- Broad knowledge and experience in audit processes.
- Competency in SSOW (PTW/ WMS/ Risk Assessment etc.)
- Ability to develop HSE plans, Emergency response procedures/plans.
- Ability to analyze incidents and apply root cause analysis techniques.
- Awareness of H2S hazards and control measures.
- Ability to speak, read & write English with good communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering OR Science OR HSE discipline (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue)
- NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent (Subject to approval by KNPC Group) Any other HSE certifications (considered at ADNOC Group discretion.
- Lead auditor ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 or equivalent.
- Incident Investigation techniques.
- Minimum 8 years’ with at least Minimum 5 Years in role of HSE in oil & gas, EPC projects.
Requirements
- •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or HSE discipline
- •NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent certification
- •Minimum 8 years of experience with at least 5 years in an HSE role in oil and gas EPC projects
- •KNPC approval required
- •Lead auditor ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 or equivalent
- •Knowledge of Incident Investigation techniques
- •Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
- •Awareness of H2S hazards and control measures
Responsibilities
