Job Description
At FAENA The Red Sea, excellence lives in every detail. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will lead and support the housekeeping team in delivering immaculate guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas that reflect the elevated luxury standards of the FAENA brand.
This role is responsible for supervising daily housekeeping operations, conducting inspections, supporting team training, and ensuring Forbes-level cleanliness, presentation, and guest service standards are consistently achieved. The ideal candidate leads by example, thrives in a fast-paced luxury environment, and is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
⢠Supervise housekeeping attendants and assign daily cleaning tasks and operational priorities
⢠Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are maintained
⢠Conduct quality inspections aligned with Forbes 5-star and FAENA luxury service standards
⢠Support onboarding and training of housekeeping team members on cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and safety standards
⢠Monitor housekeeping productivity, workflow, and service delivery throughout shifts
⢠Handle guest requests, concerns, and service recovery situations professionally and efficiently
⢠Coordinate closely with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and other operational departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
⢠Support VIP arrivals, special requests, deep-cleaning projects, and Lost & Found procedures
⢠Monitor inventory levels of linens, guest amenities, and cleaning supplies to ensure operational readiness
⢠Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
⢠Report maintenance issues, operational concerns, and quality deficiencies promptly
⢠Maintain accurate operational records and support departmental reporting requirements
Qualifications
⢠Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience within a luxury hotel or resort environment, including supervisory or coordinator experience
⢠Previous exposure to Forbes 5-star or AAA 5-Diamond standards preferred
⢠Familiarity with Opera PMS and housekeeping systems preferred
⢠Strong leadership, team supervision, and organizational skills
⢠High attention to detail with a strong understanding of luxury cleanliness and presentation standards
⢠Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
⢠Ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism and discretion
⢠Knowledge of inventory control, linen management, chemical handling, and safety procedures
⢠Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
⢠Basic computer and reporting skills
⢠Hospitality qualification or related education preferred
Requirements
